First victory for Slovakia

Slovakia gained their first victory in the Youth World Championship today against Guinea and they will continue their battle for 25-28 place while Guinea who finished in last place in the group will play for 29-32 place. 

It was a tight match for a whole 40 minutes. Slovakia was in control but Guinea with Bangoura and Kouroma as top attackers was close and equalized a few times. Three minutes were decisive in tha match.

Between 40-43 minute Guinea were not focused and Slovakia with four goals came to 25-20. Guinea missed a few shots in the finish and there was no drama.
Robert Popluhar (Slovakia) – It was our first points and we are happy about that. First half was difficult to play but in the second we improved our defense and everything was better.
